Valentina Villarreal FNP-C is a graduate of the University of Texas in Arlington, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1984. She attended graduate school at Texas Woman’s University, graduating in 2012 as a Family Nurse practitioner with a master’s degree in Science. She trained in various private hospital-based clinics as well as many community adult and pediatric family practice clinics in the Dallas Texas area. After graduation in 2012, her experience led her to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in an acute and chronic community health clinic in Dallas, Texas. She provided superior care and consultation that resulted in an overall improvement of the department’s patient satisfaction to adult and pediatric patients.
Her training then led her to pursue a career with a Federal Qualified Health Clinic in Bastrop, Texas where she focused on patient treatment and management of both acute and chronic health conditions tailored to a patient’s individual patient history and efficacy of previous treatments.
Her experience as a Nurse Practitioner eventually led her to move to Galveston, Texas, where she continues her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Valentina has been practicing family practice since 2012. She is currently located at the Community Health Network Bacliff location since December of 2018.
Currently, Valentina Villarreal holds a certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in family practice. Valentina is also a fluent communicator in both English and Spanish.
